There was a couple in Jackson, many years back (Across from Shoney's at Westland Plaza) who tried to open a mom and pop slider place to compete with Krystal.
They cooked their sliders on two of these with only a counter separation between customers and the grills. The sliders were ok, but they had lots of trouble keeping their cooking area clean enough for public presentation and went under.
Lot to be said for Krystal cooking their sliders where you can't see the grill area. Cleanliness problems will exist with most folks who grill cook much stuff or use their grill very often. However, if you want one, buy it. Will probably work very well.
How do you rake the stuff into that little grease drawer? I don't see an opening on the grill or front plate.

What are the measurements on the grill top?
It looks to me like there is a groove between the cooktop and the piece with the lip that overhangs the controls. I would guess there is a hole there where the waste drips down.
