San Francisco could have iced the game in regulation by converting a 3rd and 4.

I know what series you are referring to. Again, this was a scenario where SF had a 2nd and 5, after a solid run on first down, and Chokahan called two straight passes. Just stupid play calling all around.

The third down play took several seconds to develop. KC was sending the rush all day, yet Chokahan kept calling pass play after pass play that took forever to develop. That is not on the QB.

Chokahan started the third quarter with SIX STRAIGHT long developing pass plays that went 0/6 and SF held the ball a whopping 43 seconds on two possessions after getting an INT in KC territory, then forcing another three and out.

This is the third SB that Chokahan just has to run the ball a few more times, and his team wins in regulation. He refused.

After going 0/6, KC gets a FG. SF gets the ball again, and again, Chokahan calls 2 passes and one rush. They punt. Held the ball now on three possessions for a whopping 1:45. Playing right into the strength of a defense that gave up nearly 5 yards per rush on the season.

SF D held again, KC punts, SF fumbles, and the rest is history. The "bad" QB scored another TD, then marched down the field twice, only to have his coach once again call stupid plays where they didn't use the clock and settled for a FG.

Again, Chokahan could have had prime Brady, Montana, or even Mahomes Sunday, and he would have choked it away with play calling.

Well, yes, especially when the DC for SF decided pressure was no longer needed and they played prevent. Another stupid coaching decision. KC kept the pressure.

Chokahan was outcoached in a big game for the third time. Won't be the last either. He clearly does not learn from his mistakes. He triples down on them.

I take it you think Shannahan chokes under pressure.

Wut? On some key plays down the stretch, they brought the pressure and Mahomes made them pay for it
