Have two Power poles and am very happy with them although fortunately I've never had to use their customer service. A friend of mine used customer service and said they were great. Replaced parts for free even though he admitted fault.

I don't have either on my boat (Wish i did) but I've heard good things about both. The sheer quantity of power poles says something about the product I would say.
I did notice watching some tournament footage the other day that an angler was hooked up and trying to get to a fish and his Raptors wouldn't come up. take that for whatever it's worth.
