you are correct it is the religion of the left but the core of that is their fears. They are afraid and are seeking control of everyone and everything. It is their delusion driving them, so they support politicians who promise to fight their fears, real or imgined

Yes, and that's why debates about religious dogma are useless. I love researching history of religion but I avoid discussions re: 'My religion is right and your religion is wrong.'
