re: Possible Move to Midland, TX

I live in a city 40 miles east of Midland. The Midland-Odessa area is growing, with Midland perhaps a bit larger at app. 170-180,000. It is pretty friendly for a town of that size, schools seem to be okay, with both public and private available.

There is a busy stretch on West Loop 250, and the traffic between Midland and Odessa can be a bit challenging at times. Plenty of restaurants and various entertainment centers and Odessa is just 20-25 miles West of it.
