They have had a few freshmen show real promise. They have a couple of good players who were either hurt or redshirting and are expected to either upgrade or add depth to key positions There are two pretty good freshmen committed. None of that means they will be a top-half SEC team or even better but they should be at least a little better.

What few freshman are we talking about? Mike Williams is the only freshman.

Who is hurt/redshirting that will be an impact to next years roster? Chest?

That is me having a brain fart. I meant younger players. WIlliams, Ward, and Reed. I don't know what will happen but hope they will take the next step. Ward and Reed will both play significantly more time this season than last and should be seasoned vets next season. I will admit, though, I do tend to pump sunshine, maybe more than I should.

I may be mistaken on this but I have heard that Collins is hurt, and Chest is the other potential contributor. Both seem to be highly regarded in the places I frequent online, but that may be similar to loving the backup QB in football.

As always, my opinion is suspect
