What are EATs?

Expendable Anti-Tank support weapon. You get 2 single-use bazookas every time you call them down and the cooldown time is a minute (I think) without any ship upgrades.

So, I call them down, if a Charger/Bile Titan spawns, I pick it up (which makes my main support weapon drop), shoot him in the face, and then pick up my other support weapon.

But they're great because if you just spam them all over the place, all your teammates can grab them to kill Heavies/Tanks as well.

Now that EATs one-shot Chargers, I just spam EATs all over the map. It's such a quick cooldown that you can really flood the map with them. The grenade launcher is also great because it's easy to close bug holes and also easy to blow up the fat spitters.

I haven't unlocked the new warbond yet, but I've heard the Sickle gun and Stun Grenade are decent?

The EAT is also paired really well with the stun grenade... because of its short CD, you can stun Bile titans or chargers with it and then call in a drop pod on them for a kill

Ahhh, right, I've read that when people spam calling down EATs, they have the pod drop on a Charger/Bile Titan (for one kill), then they have 2 EATs to take out additional heavies/tanks. So basically 3 kills each time you call them down

Does it go off whatever grenade you have equipped or does it have its own type of grenade? Also, does it pull from the Ammo inventory or the Grenade inventory?

Watched Thor playing last night. Apparently if you cook off stratagems before you throw them they "stick" to whatever they hit... including chargers and titans.

It's its own type. Doesn't matter what kind of grenade you have equipped. The grenade from the grenade launcher detonates on impact.

The grenade launcher has its own ammo supply. 10 round magazine, with 2 additional mags.

I'm a Super Citizen, had to pay 1k to unlock it. I haven't been interested in buying much of the stuff from the store so I was flush with credits.

The Major Order for activating those massive insecticide facilities on the Terminid planets was finished off last night (a friend and I went into one when the last planet was around 98%, when we got out the planet had been liberated). Getting fifty Warbonds was pretty sweet.

Up next? Perhaps we find out about the mysterious blue lights? (note: I don't think those are meteor storms, the storms are a bit whiter and they angle far more downwardly)

It's the Illuminate, no?

Btw, anyone else try the Sickle? I've been loving it in place of the Breaker.

Sickle is really good. Can get a lot of use out it before overheating and the heat sink swap out is pretty fast.

Not yet. There's an order for killing 90 enemies with the flamethrower today, so that's my focus today (instead of the yard work I should be doing )

This game is SO fun, but the bugs/crashes are fricking awful.

30min into a mission, game freezes and crashes. Drop into a new mission with 3 other people, and I get the "allied destroyer has left the mission" message and then I'm solo and can't get anyone to join my game. Start a new game and I get the default loadout when dropping into a mission, instead of my selected loadout.

I really wish Arrowhead would focus on fixing shite before adding new content.

Just finished this order. Easy peasy 15 medals

ETA: By the way, if you're running Trivial missions to complete personal orders or farming SCs, if you drop into a Trivial mission and then exit the mission, it will reset the planet so that you can redo all the Trivial missions.

I have only crashed once (fingers crossed) and that was an instant back-to-desktop crash as we were loading into a map (I was in the cinematic of my hellpod dropping through the atmosphere).

Yesterday evening we were playing a Suicide mission when someone turned to throw an Eagle strat. I was running by and his throw ended up hitting me on the top of the head and sticking there.

I turned around and Jon Snow'd back towards the mass of Terminids chasing us. The explosion cooked them all but I don't think it even dinged my shield.

Is that the best way to do this?
