Yeah, if you're going to do a numbers comparison, you have to account for those double teams. Garrett was doubled at a higher rate than any edge rusher besides Parsons according to the number I've seen. And of course you have to just generally put numbers in context.

The numbers are impressive, though, as are Danielle Hunter's.

Hunter had more tackles and tackles for loss than both by a lot. I'm seeing some variance in the pressure numbers, but Hunter is up there.
It seems the pressure numbers for Garrett in OP are clearly off.

I think Garrett had the highest. But isn’t it easier to double team a DE as opposed to an edge guy?

Regardless Parsons had significantly more pressures (106) and the same amount of sacks. Watt had 5 more sacks and the SAME amount of pressures as Garrett. Watt also dropped back into coverage from time to time.

I know base numbers aren’t everything but Garrett didn’t do a whole lot the last half of the season. 3 sacks in 7 games isn’t what you would expect from a DPOY. Against teams like the Broncos he got completely shut down. I know he was hurt but that can’t excuse someone from winning an award

Those double team numbers are absolute shite. They had Alex Highsmith being doubled more than TJ Watt.
