They ruled all of that territory from Kiev until the Mongol invasion, which destroyed the Kievyan Rus Kingdom for good, leaving only the Duchy of Moscow because they caved to the Mongols like Savannah did to Sherman. Like Cowards.


Moscow and that whole part of Russia was a backwater shite hole until that point. Ukraine was the historical beginning of the "Russian" peoples and culture.
