People of normal intelligence don't refuse to vote where the result will equal a Socialist type on the dem ticket winning.

You should look at it a little differently from the perspective of this precise point in history: like it or not, either Trump or Biden-Harris will be the next President, full stop. Surely you have an opinion as to the choice amongst that very limited set of options as to which would lead to a better life and future for you and yours. Or if you prefer, look at it in terms of which option will cause the least harm to you and yours.
