Actually they should increase the length between bases and pitching a bit. It’s like cabbage ball. Forbid batters from running out of batters box before making ball contact, as well.

Actually the pitching distance was moved back from 40 to 43 feet about 12 years ago. That did increase scoring by a good bit... before that, pitchers really dominated the game even more than now.
