My lawn plan is rarely the same year to year. I like to play around with a few things to see if I can get more desirable results. The plan this year is as follows.

Soil temp=55 degrees any pre em with prodiamine.

Lawn is roughly 50% greened up 33-3-6. That is roughly tax day. I'll also do another round of prodiamine at this time if not slightly earlier.

4-5 weeks later I'll do 46-0-0.

4-5 weeks later 33-3-6

4-5 weeks later 33-3-6

Soil temp hits 70 I'll do specticle. One app at the full rate.

0-0-62 In November/December

Spot treating in cooler temps with a three way herbicide, warm temps with msm, and hot temps with Celsius. I'll add sedgehammer to Celsius or msm if needed.

Propiconizole and/or Heritage on stand by for spring dead spot or helminthisporium.

This past year just to change things up I did a half rate of fert every 2 weeks on the front and alternated spraying iron in between. I will say my front looked better than my back. I have about two months to decide if I'm going to do that again.

Ronk/Crawdude, I have the Hi Yield w/Dimension ready to spread. But tomorrow is calling for 1-2" of rain, so obviously heavy. Would you put down the preemergent today, or do you think that is too much rain?

when we get into summer time like this, do active ingredients really matter or is any fertilizer (ie, not a weed and feed or hybrid type product but strictly a fertilizer) with those percentages good to go?
