ultimately it doesn’t matter how it was discovered he was violating NCAA rules if he was in fact violating NCAA rules

it matters in the sense that we are describing how severe of an error wade made. I would argue that all or almost all coaches were violating the rules, and it was only bad luck wade got caught in a federal case.

it was reasonable for him to expect he had privacy.

Ok and what does that have to do with anything? He was unlucky?

that's exactly the issue. he was unlucky. it wasn't that he was particularly corrupt or particularly sloppy. its that he was by chance caught up in a frivolous federal case and then LSU failed to have his back, for whatever reason (to protect football, because president Tate is an idiot, whatever, doesn't matter)

the point is that wade is an excellent coach that did nothing that everyone else wasn't doing and in fact was required to win. he was simply unlucky. its not his fault.

the claim that he was incompetent for not covering his tracks or being more secretive is false. he could not have expected the NCAA to listen to his calls via help from the feds.

He definitely must have covered up his tracks well. They were claiming we paid naz reid 200 k and they searched javonte up n down and the only figures they came back with was like 5000 to the ex gf of a former player from like 2017 lol

Do you even hear yourself

When you are breaking the rules which he was and you are openly discussing it in the phone with another party that’s careless and stupid. The detail that it was the Feds is irrelevant. In some states you can record calls without the other persons consent or the guy he’s talking about on could have turned him or told a 3rd party that turned him in.

How he was caught is irrelevant he was caught which is pretty much the definition of being careless. Especially if as you claim everyone does it and does get caught.
