I have said I think McMahon was a bad hire. I compare him pretty much to Mike White the former coach at La Tech who did great at Tech and stunk it up at Florida (fired of course). At Georgia, he isn't lighting it up yet either. White and McMahon came from mid-major conferences. Basketball should be the easiest sport to turn around for 2 reasons:
1) there are obviously fewer players involved compared to football and baseball
2) the teams with star players can't count on them staying even 3 years since you can leave college after only 1 year...thus, the talent level gap is normally not gigantic if you can recruit decently (obviously a McMahon problem)

Kim won the NC in her second season at LSU. McMahon will be lucky to make the NIT in his 2nd season. 'nuff said

Comparing McMahon to one of the best basketball coaches period is not in any way fair. Also ignoring the fact that McMahon has about 8 seasons of coaching experience compared to 24 for Mulkey.

you know he wasn’t fired right? He also went to the elite 8 and had a winning record in the NCAA tournament.

Georgia is better this year than they have been in a while. And better than any year they had from his predecessor.
