Here we go with the tired and overused "sovereign country" routine. Need I remind you of the dozens of times the US has invaded sovereign countries over shat we stirred up to justify it. Or the times our intel fellas actually toppled govts. The list is quite extensive.

Russia was stopping the systematic slaughter of ethnic Russians in Donbas after years of warnings to leave them alone and not to expand nato to boot.

Now we will hear, oh we didnt "sign" an agreement dont cha know, just a wink and a nod, and besides the people who told the Russians that are no longer in office. Thats the same logic we use today since the signers of the constitution are dead....dont cha know.

You do have to laugh at Americans thinking that invading “a sovereign country” is somehow a gotcha moment that invalidates all further arguments.
