Any sexual relationship between a coach/educator and their athletes/students is inappropriate. There’s obviously a lot of abuse that can go wrong there and some conflicts of interest.

Agreed, my recollection was flawed.

I thought it ended up being a GA rather than a player and that the relationship continued post-coaching. Still would not be ideal but given the nature of GAs in the coaching profession it is not really an educator-student scenario.
