It's the BLM 'Week of Action' in Public Schools
Did you know that kids across America are enjoying this year's Black Lives Matter "Week of Action?"
This is thanks to the endorsement of the National Education Association, the largest teachers' union. It has partnered up with BLM (they still exist?) to engage students in anti-White, anti-Jewish, and anti-Western activities designed to prepare children to become good citizens in the coming de-colonialized America.
There is absolutely nothing good to recommend about the BLM Week of Action, but this year, a new and particularly vile twist has been added to the mix: a call to martyrdom.
Yes, you read that right. Rather than just smear everything about the West, this year BLM has allied itself with a pro-Jihad group to promote the idea that martyrdom in the destruction of Western values is a good and necessary thing.
The project is run by Black Lives Matter @ School.
It turns out that BLM @ School is a big fan of the Palestinian cause, with a couple of sections of resources either directly related to spreading anti-Israel propaganda or adjacent issues.
Also included are resources pushing Black Nationalism, communism, and just about every form of radical politics out there.

It includes: A recommended resource called "Palestinian Youth Movement" which states that a key accomplishment for 2022 is that “We used creative protest to honor our martyrs and uplift their legacies.” A poster available for download is of a martyr on a stretcher covered in a Palestinian flag and with a keffiyeh on their head. The summary for the poster states, “This poster honors our martyrs, our resistance and future freedom fighters who fight to liberate our land every day.” It goes on to say, “The martyr is being lifted up and as we say in Palestine, our martyrs do not die, they rise…In our struggle martyrs are our sun; they are our guiding light.”
BLM at Schools curriculum resources also link to a Within Our Lifetimes rally toolkit that states that it will assist with the “logistical and political elements of organizing a demonstration to defend the Palestinian people.” Three chants listed in Arabic are revealed to specifically glorify martyrdom:
-“There is no god but God, and the martyr is the beloved of God”
-“With our soul and our blood, we will redeem you, O Palestine.”
-“The door of Al-Aqsa is made of iron, only a martyr can open it”

Thanks for posting this. I just asked my son, who is in high school, and he hasn’t seen anything regarding blm. But we’re in a fantastic school district with an actively engaged community and school board that is pretty solid.

The 16 year old 7th grader is going to abandon his kid? They going to get out of school early to go loot and burn a Target?

If I couldn’t afford private school I’d be homeschooling my kid, no question.

I teach in a high school. This thread is the first I have heard of it.
I did see a teacher this morning wearing a shirt which said “Black Teacher” and now I guess it makes sense.
But at least in my school the week has gone mostly unrecognized.
