I honestly believe I could have written a better first season. Some of the creative decisions made were mindboggling. How do you not even use any of Halo's music??!! The choice to cast a high profile actor and make this an interpersonal drama was disastrous. The tone of the show was completely wrong.

Maybe they will be able to hand wave away some of the bad decisions of S1 (Cortana piloting braindead chief, wtf) and just focus on the Fall of Reach.

Can’t they seamlessly integrate that into a non-speaking Master Chief? I think it’d be pretty easy. Especially since other Spartans do speak.

I really wish they would have just live-actioned the book trilogy (Fall of Reach, The Flood, and First Strike). Make it 3 seasons and call it a day. All three of them could easily be broken up logically into 8 or 10 episodes each.

it was there..you had to REALLY listen for it though.

i'm 3/4 of the way through and its not AWFUL but its also pretty meh so far.

Ep1 and Ep5 were the only ones with any action so far and it was only about 10 minutes worth each time.
