Some Las Vegas account on X said someone surveyed the land. But it's too small for the stadium the Athletics want. But with the brutal heat there, there's no point building a partially retractable roof. It won't be open but for a couple of games a year anyway. They're better off just building a fixed roof if they are determined to build on that site. And it doesn't sound like Fisher has the money to pay for it either.

Eh the night games could be open air as it does cool off in the desert
