Poster above nailed it. They need activity. Mine rides shotgun everyday all day, swims, runs, and chases shite. Do not leave them in a cage or house all day. We Roux proof our house before we leave. The Rougarou is a black and tan colored catahoula. Her dad was a show dog that got half his ear licked off. Her mom was a hog dog. I got her when my son was born almost 6 years ago. She was going to be his dog. She is my dog. She is latched on to me. She is great with my almost 6 year and also my 1.5 year old. She bonded to me and goes everywhere I go. I dare you to try to open my truck or house door. She hasn’t bit anyone, but lots of people have shite themselves walking close to the truck. She’s as sweet as she can be outside of the truck and house. She’s has caught multiple squirrels and found multiple deer. She’s also the smartest, most stubborn dog I’ve ever been around. Total opposite of a lab. Roo Roo as my little one says is a great member of our family.

Have used fromm kibbles for 3 working labs, no issues w the food. High protein and fat content. Have heard good and bad things lately on pro plan, seems quality control can be off.
