Married 22 years, rarely do we sleep in the same room. We have very different sleep needs. I snore, she goes to bed early, I go to bed later, I like the TV on and she doesn't, I wake up at random times with work on my mind and I have to have the TV on to try and take my mind off of things. When we vaca, somehow it works in the same bed, because we are more relaxed, not thinking about work....etc. Really thought there was something wrong with us for a while, but it just works for us...nice to know that its more common that I thought. Sleep divirce is a stupid way of putting it...
