This is where I wonder if this board has watched the same games I’ve watched .

This board has watched more than a dozen games this year where the Pelicans had a solid, sometimes double digit lead, at the 6 minute mark only to watch Zion be pulled and see the lead completely evaporate while the momentum and energy completely changes in favor of the opposing team. After the 6 minute substitution, we routinely go 3-4 minutes without scoring, and often times without a single good look. You completely discount the turnovers and lack of offense during this stretch and always focus on 1 or 2 possessions in a game that was a double digit lead minutes earlier.

Zion absolutely has had too many turnovers on the last 2 minutes. But, rarely do we ever see a shot clock violation or end of clock heave when the play starts with the ball in his hands. Those things are common as hell down the stretch when he doesn't touch the ball.

I still think some of the turnovers are happening because of bs officiating. I am not sure why Zion doesn’t get just reasonable calls.

Also while our 3pt percentage has looked better at times. We should still be absolutely destroying people as Zion is sucking the whole defense in leaving wide open shots. Only a few people do that in the league and he is one of them. BI does not have that kind of effect.
