Her bars were an exhibition and they never shared the scores for the exhibition competitors. Her floor was part of our 6 as she was subbed in right as they moved to floor.
Her score was dropped as the lowest.

First things first - they did a great job last night regardless of any over scoring. Now they have to bring that same energy to an away meet, so let’s hope they do!
Second, now to the topic of over scoring -
Haleigh’s vault was over scored because she had a clear hop - 9.9 or 9.925 for that vault is probably more accurate. I didn’t see KJ or Aleah vault be because I was running late so can’t comment on scoring for KJ, other than to say they are always going to score the first routine lower than they might, which is a risk you run, esp with that full.
Kiya’s bars particularly was underscored - I am not quite sure what it is about her set that judges seem to find fault with. Otherwise, bars seemed relatively ok with judging.
Beam is where things got a bit out of control: Alexis was probably over scored with her balance check on the straddle quarter; Konnor has two balance checks, so she was probably over scored; and Aleah was for sure over scored as she had two much larger balance checks on her series and her full turn.
On floor - the only really egregious thing was Aleah’s score. So on her first pass into the stag leap the timing for the pass was off and so it was very odd looking from where I was sitting. Otherwise the routine was very good. I think the one judge across from her saw that, hence the 9.85, and the other judge who was on the same side as her but at the other end of the apparatus didn’t have as good of a view of it. I think that’s why there was that odd split. I honestly thought Kiya’s was better than Haleigh’s and better than her ten the other week, so I thought they might for it.
All in all, most of the very egregious over scoring was on beam, and while it was a very solid rotation, it had a few wobbles, so I think for sure at least 2 tenths over scored. - probs my 2.5. Which still would have given us an excellent score.
Also, Konnor is perfection - what a move to nearly get a 10 in the lead off floor spot.
I’ll end the same way I started - but if this team can get it other on the road, they are unstoppable.
