i dont understand how the shark from Jaws is even in the competition. are there really people watching Jaws thinking UUGGHHHH I HATE THIS frickING SHARK the same way they hate Col Tavington, Percy Whetmore, or Commodus? i mean, it's a shark. it eats when it's hungry. the shark is practically incidental to the movie, which is about people and their relationships to each other based around an extreme situation.

Well the great fish did kill that sweet party girl.

And terrorized a town. And frightened an entire generation to never put a toe in the Ocean.

Ruined the mental psyche of many humans.

So, yes...based on cultural impact, I'd say Jaws is a pretty big villain for us humans.
