It's part of the University's initiative to foster learning about other cultures to understand things they do differently and share things we do differently with the possibility of either incorporating things to improve techniques or even abandoning one for the other. All in all, it is probably a good experience. For things in the College of Ag, most students have to pick up their own expenses unless they can find a sponsor.
