Revenue share in men’s basketball meaning tv and all other media rights and marketing makes the women’s a rounding error. Ticket prices much higher for men’s. And the women’s payroll is higher than the men’s, which is insane and shows you pay for what you get

The ticket sales they show are $2,455,504 for Men's Basketball and $973,880 for Women's Basketball. I don't live in Baton Rouge and don't go to games but watch on streaming. It seems as if the women are bringing in as many fans as the men but that is with no means to really judge. So what is the deal? Are the men charging more for tickets, especially season tickets? Do the women have discounted games to try and generate interest? Good question but I have no answer
Help some of us who are ignorant understand. Just wondering why the men's basketball team is in the black and the women's is so far in the red. I can't imagine the Women's Basketball team spent that much more. Ticket sales for women's basketball last year had to be more than for men's basketball. Is this a TV Revenue separated for men's basketball versus women's that makes a difference in 8 or 9 million dollars? Real question, just curious?

Men’s ticket are priced higher plus they command a donation for seasons tickets.

I don’t knyif I believe that or not. What kind of deficit did they have when they had 2-3000 in the crowd?

Was this before or after the coaching salaries were subsidized by TAF?

They're just letting everyone know that the prices are about to go up on everything!

I have season tickets to both WBB and MBB. My MBB tickets cost me 3X what my WBB tickets cost me.

Women's basketball doesn't get the eyeballs on TV, nationwide, that MBB does. Thus way less TV money, regardless of the number of butts in the bleachers.

They took in a record amount of revenues this fiscal year. Supposedly there’s millions more set to pour in resulting from the new TV deal.

Would bet WBB does get more eyeballs watching than MBB.
