Disney what frick you.
If we leave politics out of it, Disney parks still offer a better product, but Universal is right on their heels.
As my kids got older they preferred the bigger rides of Universal, but outside of rides, Disney still offers the better experience.

I disagree that Disney offers a better experience now, and I am someone who spent years going to Disney World and wouldn't step foot in a Universal park. Currently, Disney is overpriced, understaffed, and way to complicated. It is stressful to vacation there. You pretty much have to spend extra money on Genie+ or Lightning Lane to be able to ride. You have to make a theme park reservation to even get into a park. It is beyond ridiculous.
Universal has better hotels, better transportation, and it is a much simpler vacation. I don't have to get up at 7am to try to make ride reservations. I don't have to make dining reservations six months in advance. I don't have to make park reservations. Plus, Hagrid's and Velocicoaster blow Disney coasters out of the water.

I disagree. It’s close. But for older kids and adults I think Universal is superior. Disney is like what it would be like to live in a modern communist state. Super expensive, a billion rules, and the illusion of freedom by giving a handful of pre-approved choices to make.
