John Fogerty has had a lowish profile and he went years without playing Creedence songs because of a pissing match he had with their manager
And while Fogerty is not perfect (he passed up a deal that would have made CCR $50M bc it didn't include his publishing rights) it was still a terrible record contract -- maybe the worst ever for a major act
