Of course, "lobbing a couple missiles" doesn't magically accomplish peace and stability, but in this instance, we simply must begin the process and disabuse ourselves of the notion that the Iranians and their proxies can be changed or that they share our worldview. What they do understand is being hit hard in ways that matter to them. This is why the Trump ME policy was so much more effective than Biden's. He did not coddle Iran or desperately seek an awful nuclear deal with the mullahs, and he also took economic and meaningful military action against Iran. After enduring 100+ attacks on Americans, it is far past time to start making the difficult choices and pushing back because that is the only the way to back Iran down. As someone has said, you can't ignore the ME nor can you change it.
