Lsu Alumni doing a mardi gras party jointly with Tulane this Saturday at frontier. Tulane sales are looking stronger than LSU at this point. Tell your chicago friends as this is SAD considering how much bigger we are!

1 food ticket (gumbo, red beans & rice or kale & apple salad)

One of these things is out of place!

Pioneer knows how to run a good bar, that's for sure. They also own Lottie's and Pony Inn, which are fantastic sports bars. Lottie's, specifically, is wild all day and night on Saturdays.

There are a lot of Wisconsin alumni around Chicago, so we have Lottie's (Kansas also has a share of it), Will's, Innjoy, and Lodge.

My friends and I have started going to Lottie's as we've gotten into our early 30s and moved into Wicker, Bucktown, Logan, but Will's still top-tier Wisconsin bar.

ETA: Anyway, sorry to hijack thread - just wanted to say owners of Frontier (Pioneer Tavern Group) know what they're doing with their bars. They're all good, including Frontier.

all good!!! we are desperately trying to get our alum to stop frequenting our old spots (won’t name names). appreciate support for the pioneer group because they are SO supportive of the alumni chapter - they put their money where their mouth is

I was at Standard for the LSU Bama game where LSU won on the 2 pt conversion and it was awesome.

He might also be talking about DS Tequila Co in Boystown, which is lame for games.

yes. they have been an unofficial bar and erode money that could go towards the school and its initiatives. pretty frustrating!

Standard is a good sports bar but it’s definitely one of those places that hangs a dozen hats to increase revenue. Frontier is all Louisiana and really pulls out all the stops on game days.
