.500 in conference next year gets him a 4th. Watch and see.

I think I'm willing to bet that LSU does not win 9 games in the SEC next year with the following:

Texas
OU
Ole Miss (year 2 under Beard)
Auburn
Bama
Kentucky
Aggy
South Carolina
Tennessee

The frustrating part is that we consistently finished in the top 4 to 6 in the SEC for 4 straight years. It is depressing.

then he doesn't need to be a coach at LSU anymore.
It's too easy to feild a competitive team with the transfer portal, and having 2 solid years to recruit, you still can't be a middle of the road SEC team in year 3 after two shitty years? sorry but you suck and you need to go.

and that's not me saying i want him to fail. I want him to succeed, but i'm tired of waiting.

Chris Beard took over a 3 and 4 SEC win team over the last 2 years, and has already won 4 sec games this year on top of going undefeated in the non conference, in YEAR 1 at Ole Piss, and they are a bubble team right now.

Lamont Paris is in year 2 at South Carolina, after taking over a 4 sec win team, and they are firmly in the tournament right now with a 5-2 sec record.

Chris Jans took over a Mississippi State program that had made the tournament once in the last 13 years, and he makes the tournament in year 1, and will again this year in year 2, currently projected as a 10 seed.

Florida fired a coach that had gone to 4 straight tourneys, then missed one tournament after a 9-7 sec record. First year Todd Golden went 9-9, and he's looking like a bubble team again, and UF still isn't happy.
Their fired coach Mike White went to UGA, a perennial basketball loser that had won 1 SEC game the previous year, and won 6, and is sitting at 4-3 currently with a NET ranking higher than LSU.

I'm not interested in whatever excuse anyone wants to conjure up, b/c they dont' apply anymore going into year 3.
If he can't be a NCAA bubble team at worst next year, then go find another job.
