Have all my stock with this company under designated beneficiary individual. Recently added more stock and thought I did same but just saw added stock is under Roth contributory IRA. Will this affect me negatively? Do I need to change this to DBI? If so, how do I move my current stock ? Thx.

Your post is not very clear but if you are saying you accidentally deposited money in a Roth account that you intended to deposit in your taxable investment account … then call the Schwab 1800 number. They can probably transfer it for you if you do this asap. Or you could just count it as your 2023 contribution?

Call Schwab and find out what you have. You don’t seem to understand it.

I buy stocks like lowes & carnival. I always buy the stock under the DBI tab. In my latest round of buying stock, I accidentally bought it under the Roth contributory IRA tab.
Asking if that makes a difference negatively

So you bought shares in a tax advantaged account instead of a taxable account, is that it?
I’m not sure that I understand why you think this would create a negative situation. I mean, did you plan to use the free cash in the Roth to purchase something else and now you’re tapped out?

Yep, yep.
