If I decide to move or buy a 2nd house on a lake, it will be Lake Michigan around Traverse City.
I bet that's high dollar real estate. For the past few years I've visited a friend in Wisconsin in the summer. We fish Lake Geneva several times. Bass fishing is great. I couldn't ever afford to buy property there. I suspect as much for Lake Michigan around Traverse City.

Of it were cheap, I'd already own a house there.
Those northern lakes are amazing in the summer and fun fishing.
