I retired on Lake Tyler outside Tyler Texas. The fish can be big in this lake but the two lakes are only just over 5000 acres. When I retired the fishing was good. Not sure about today. There are many, many tournaments on this lake. But I chose Lake Tyler because Lake Fork is kind of in the boondocks.
