I prefer Truman to Lake of the Ozarks.
Table Rock is a great fishery but the Branson side is over run with rental boats (its also $$$).
You can't actually live on Ouachita due to USFS owning the land down to the white line.
My folks live on Greers and they enjoy it. Weekends and holidays can be a shitshow with all the Little Rock and Memphis people

Truman is underrated. I've caught more crappie on that lake than every other lake combined.
