but let’s not act like it wasn’t pre-planned to absolutely frick him and all of us purposely. There’s some nuance to 2020.
I think Dems had a gift drop in their lap, and they didn’t even recognize it right away.
Remember Pelosi in Chinatown and tweets about masks being a joke by Dems, all the while Tucker Carlson was on every evening freaking out about the virus. He sent that old doctor to Omaha where the first Americans with COVID were sent. People forget this, but Tucker was one of the first high profile Covidians.
Anyway, once Dems realized they could use COVID as a political weapon they went for it big and Trump took the knee. The establishment and Dems won big and middle America lost big.

No, we don’t course correct and spend money and keep what small businesses and people we can afloat during a created pandemic, let everyone suffer, so conglomerates can swoop in and buy up what’s left of Main Street America and we go further down the road of corporate socialism

Exactly. We were always going to lose yardage against Covid. Monday morning haters aren’t reasonable and should be ignored.

I see some have succeeded in changing the subject.
So lsuguy/robinmasters/et al;
What do you think of RFK Jr as Trump's VP?

I’m sure the alternative would have led to libertarian bliss. Funny how you people never consider that there were alternate outcomes which are actually worse.
The alternative Trump should have gone with was not letting his CDC lie about the virus and not funding all the nonsense. There’d have been no businesses to worry about.
Do you believe the virus, the real one, not the mythical one, warranted the COVID response we got?

The spin and deflection is unsurprising at this point.
Robert freaking Kennedy Jr
Unbelievable

They created a purposeful, no-win situation. During that time, and still now, corporations were swooping in and buying up that real estate. I don’t think any of us wanted to spend that money and felt good about it, but it had to be done.

Which would have promptly led to his impeachment. Good lord man.

So you think a virus less lethal than the flu for the vast majority of Americans not way old/frail or already very unwell - you think that virus was such a threat that we had no choice but to hand everything over to the elites and establishment?

I think it’s terrible and I don’t think he’s the guy. I also think Flynn has become a weirdo.

So? He was impeached for a phone call. Who the frick cares if Dems did it again?

It’s got merit. As I said earlier I think we are seeing a coalescence around new paradigms in which D & R are not as important.
R & D battle strategies favor the establishment and this changes the dynamic.
Do you think RFK Jr is an establishment candidate?

No I mean removed from office impeached and there would have been plenty of political will to do it.

Geez. You apparently have much more faith in his abilities than the Cult45ers.

No he wouldn’t have. You understand COVID was never going to kill is all, right?
And here I’ll note that this exchange started with me suggesting that the establishment flourished under Trumpnand you suggesting that was crazy. Now here you are defending Trump for doing big time establishment things because the establishment told him to and so Trump had no choice.

That's just another way of saying policies and platforms don't matter.

It would have required leadership. Which Trump showed a decided lack of.
Instead he harangued governors for allowing businesses to stay open.
Meanwhile Sweden didn't shut down and did just fine.

And did nothing about his runaway CDC as it lied, cheated and swindled us into the biggest scam this country has ever seen.

When decisions are actually made by a cabal of unelected globalists they don’t.
