That team was ten games under .500 and beat a clippers team without Paul George or Kawhi and then extended the suns series because Booker was hurt. It was great effort but we had some luck along the way.

I really don't understand why a play as simple as Zion and BI running the pick and roll doesn't work.

They are so rarely in the same action together.

Accurate, but Kawhi took a team to a championship with alot of luck. You have to have some luck when getting that far. That does not mean the team didn't have some dog in them in doing so.

PG13 was ruled out right before the Clippers game in the second playoff game with Covid. Booker missed multiple games with injury in the first round. You are 100% right that the run that season was a bit of fool's gold.
