Good video on McMahon’s offense

Pretty sure they’re running some variation of motion rather than sets of specific plays most of the time.

I’ve seen us do many of the things from this video, but we do them a lot less when cook gets the ball at the top of the key.

You know what I get flashbacks of when Cook is running the offense - When Stringer was point guard under Trent, we run that high ball screen, the opposition hard hedges and it blows up everything and it takes him about 10 seconds to extricate himself from that predicament (if he doesn't turn the ball over) and the offense is totally out of synch and we're lucky to get a decent shot off.

This does not seem to happen nearly as much with others at point as it does Cook, for whatever reason. We need to keep playing Cook because of his offensive potential, but if we're going to, either play him off ball or ditch the high ball screen when he's running the show.
