You don’t win as many games as he did at LSU, and you don’t take over a completely dead with zero hope program and win a conference with them in year one if you aren’t coaching Xs and Os at a decent level.
It is funny to see the Wade Brigade constantly claim that Wade took over a horrible situation.

The only NBA player they had was Skylar Mays.
They had absolutely no post play. This team has more talent than Wades first team. They went 8-10 in league play.
I said in another post, 10 of their 11 remaining games are winnable. 6 of them are at home. Absolutely no reason they can’t go 5-5 and get to 8-10 in league play

He has taken Texas Southern to the conference championship several times. Made the NCAA Tourney.
