There's nothing great about it. It's a fricking chore to get through. If this show is greatness, then TV simply sucks. I don't get this boards infatuation with it. Unless you watched it when it came out and you like it for nostalgic reasons, it's not very good.

Are we supposed to think you are a cool and edgy with these contrarian takes? Because this is more a self own than anything
Shakespeare can be a chore to get through but it’s still great. it’s “slow” because it is developing characters and story that are complex and nuanced not just 2 dimensional “good guys vs bad guys” or focused on 1 crime.
And it’s not just this board that ranks this show as one of the best of all time. And it’s nothing to do with “nostalgia”. Not everyone has to like it, I’m not a big fan of Breaking Bad, I find it too bleak and depressing but I understand it’s a great show just not my cup of tea.
