RE fouls
Our 15 fouls came in only 3 quarters as we finished the 1Q with zero fouls. Now, you can say that the refs showed favor to us during 1Q play but I noticed a distinctive different quality of defensive play during that time.
However, fatigue, I guess, caused us to go back to poor defensive habits like reaching, not stopping on drives when obstructed, and a few slaps at the ball.
I firmly believe that having Smyah Smith would have made more than 6 pts difference in that she would have given the other bigs more rest time as well as adding to points and rebounds and blocks.
