This probably isn’t even the problem.

It’s not like you will burst into flames as a meat eater if you consume vegan food.

Yes, you are limited by what you can do without meats or cheeses, but the place’s problem is probably that it’s so full of itself that the pretentiousness is off putting, and they charge too much for what they they put in front of you.

No reason why a café like that can’t rake it in serving stuff like a quality tomato soup with crusty bread lunch special.

I mean, I can tell you that I'm not going to pick a vegan restaurant. I have no interest. I don't care how tasty their salad might be. If I'm going out to eat, I'm picking a place that has options that I'm looking forward to eating.

No different than if there were a Barbie doll outlet store. I wouldn't go browse there either.

I've always said this re: vegan and vegetarian food. Especially vegetarian (if dairy is still on the table, the options are not limited at all).

A lot of non-veg people eat food without meat on it without even thinking about it. Grilled cheese and tomato soup, loaded veggie pizza, caprese sandwiches/salads, veggie lo mein/fried rice, etc.

You don't have to serve lentil loaf and sweet potato chili to have a veg-centric restaurant.

Have you ever met a vegan? A vegans problem is that they are so full of themselves and their pretentiousness is off putting.

If that was true then it would have chosen to close up shop rather than add meat to the menu, which is what another vegan restaurant in that area chose to do. Vegans are insufferable, cultish, virtue-signalling assholes.
