he lives for INTs away from the Dome, its ridiculous how many under the radar bad decisions he makes...people just jerk off to him because he throws for a lot of yards but he really does make some terrible turnovers

About time somebody said it. Everybody wants to blame Reggie or Payton while Drew throws into triple coverage. His 2 ints cost the Saints way more than anything Reggie did or the stupid sweep on 4th down.

in his defense that one on the goal line was just bad luck, the de was trying to bat the ball down and he was given a gift from the heavens and it fell right in his hands

No one ever calls out the Brees are you fricking crazy?

Does anyone else remember when the qb used to get too much credit and too much blame?

We finally get a good qb and when he makes a bad decision we can't even question it or its blasphemy?

Btw this will be the last post to your thread

The one game I'll say was pretty much brees fault mainly was the bucs game, those passes were absolutely terrible (the hail mary interceptions into triple coverage deep)

There were way too many other glaring problems tonight to place the blame squarely on his shoulders. Like playing from behind from the very first play which no one seems to be metioning.

There are inexplicably multiple threads about Reggie sucking tonight when Drew was 24-43 with two terrible Ints. I love Drew but how often does he have a multiple interception game but everyone blames Reggie or Payton or the O-line? He's the best player on the team but that doesn't absolve him from criticism.

I have said it many times before - it was Drew's crunch time play that got him out of San Diego.

I think you would be hard pressed to find a passer that doesn't make mistake that also throws 50 passes a game.

I'm sorry, I'm in a Devil's Advocate mood tonight for the sake of entertainment.

yes

but if brees gets a free pass for his crucial picks, i should get an english pass at least once

so for the next 2 games can we just let him throw all over the place so he can at least break the record?

He throws less than 40 times a game. Last three games 53%, 56%, and 55% with 4 Ints. He hasn't been his sharpest lately that is obvious to anyone with eyes.

I dont mind calling brees out for some of his throws. The only saint IMO that has played well all year is Vilma. Brees is still the best player on this team. Maybe the best QB the saints have ever had.
