That doesn't make any sense. There was never a finding that Pete Rose ever bet against his own team. No one should be betting on their own team no matter the outcome.

correct me if i'm wrong, but doesn't Rose adamantly insist to this day that he ALWAYS bet FOR his team to win, NEVER AGAINST? Has it ever been proven otherwise?
The only specific bet mentioned was betting he WOULD catch a TD pass in FSU game, betting he WOULD GO OVER 82.5yds.... and the mentally-challenged idiots on here all start nodding their heads and saying "Yeah I could tell he was tanking on purpose in that game" and get showered in upvotes from the other dummies
