Graves is on the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee (a much desired committee to be on) which is why Louisiana has been getting some hefty Federal funding for infrastructure projects including flood control and hurricane coastal protection. He is also on the House Natural Resources Committee and its Energy and Mineral Resources Subcommittee and the Water, Wildlife and Fisheries Subcommittee. So he has strong input into any federal law changes affecting the oil and gas extraction industry and/or the water and wildlife and fisheries industries, not that any of those are important to a state like Louisiana...
