I wouldn’t call a SEC championship meaningless.

You cried about this for weeks during baseball season as they kept winning in the postseason. Season is a failure if they don’t win tonight?

For any who care, IF LSU were to win out in the SEC and finish 15-1, LSU would be awarded a trophey by the SEC which would say "SEC Champions." Plus we'd be the #1 seed in the SEC Tournament.

When did I say that? I have never said that winning the SEC championship is the only goal. But every team in the country is doing their very best to win a conference championship.

Is the season over if LSU loses tonight, no, they proved that last season. But I promise you that it is one of the team goals when the season starts.

Winning the regular season conference championship is never meaningless.

You have to be a spoiled brat of a fan to think “national title or failure” every season.
