I really don't know what to say. He finally sold the store and retired. Wild how this works.

I remember when Rob was working for Saban. Bob told Rob that he will sit in that stadium but will never wear Alabama clothes. Bob told me that personally.

Someone has asked how he passed. I know what happened He got sick in the last couple of weeks and it spiraled. That's the best I can do. I really do not feel right going any further.

Damn…great family. Me and Rob were in kindergarten together. Even back then I couldn’t believe how big Rob was for a kindergartner lol. Tough times in Monroe :(

I hate to hear this. I always enjoyed seeing Bob…..I remember printing out a Dandy Don daily report that mentioned Rob back when Rob was an up and coming recruit at Neville and delivering it to Bob at his camera store. Bob was appreciative and mentioned this incident several times over the years. I would always seem to run into Bob at those now long ago bowl games. He was always ready to talk LSU football and provide a detailed report on Rob’s latest developments in his football life. RIP Tiger friend!

My Goodness, this is terrible. He was always a great conversation. Like someone said, tough times in Monroe area right now.
Last I saw him was last year when they were selling the store, he seemed to be doing well. How did he pass?

I am sad. I didn’t know Bob died. I saw him and we visited around Thanksgiving at Walk On’s in West Monroe. His camera/photography store turned into an LSU store and he was always super proud of Rob and how he was doing in his coaching career.

I never put it together that it was Rob's dad business. I lived on Roselawn very close to it.
