If I had to guess, and this could be complete bullshite, he broke up with his GF at LSU and with incoming recruits no longer saw a need to stay here. Took his opportunity to transfer to a great offensive system. Can’t blame him

I doubt it. Even after death threats, by retarded fans, his Dad still was a big contributor to. LSU.
Why can't simple minded understand you can be an LSU fan but play sports at another university.
He was not going to play here, why not go where he maybe can play.
Daniels left and he was a starter. How did that work out for him?

Maybe dad recognized his kid wasn't as good as those at LSU and made a business decision. He probably knew he'd get beat out for the starter for the foreseeable future.
