Yes, this cannot be said enough. The documentary on him identified a lot of flaws. Also, how he fired longtime loyal staff bc the crazy woman wanted to run the show... never forget how awful he was to family and loyal staff...

obviously there were interesting conversations he had and shined a lot of light on areas and culture beyond the food, but he doesn't seem like he was an overly good person.
i don't want to speak ill of the dead or anything, obviously his show had great impact.
