We use tractive on 20 acres. It doesn't shock them but I can track them and beep the collar, they come home. After a while they learn where they can go.

We tried the halo gps shock collar, was not a fan. My GSP would haul arse through the boundary before it could even shock him. It was much more expensive too, and a lot less durable.
